As an accomplished professional, Charles brings more than 33 years of international travel and hospitality industry experience to his role as a consultant and trainer having served in senior management positions with companies such as Wotif.com, Millennium; Copthorne International, Zuji, Sol Melia Hotels; Resorts, Rosenbluth International Travel and the Shangri-La Hotels.

 

He is also an associate lecturer at several educational institutions, and he has taught on diploma, undergraduate and masters degree programmes at James Cook University, RMIT University, Murdoch University, Southern Cross University and the Tourism Management Institute of Singapore. Charles is a regular presenter at marketing and tourism and industry events where he has delivered papers on the art of service, marketing and branding.

Charles is a graduate of Macquarie University in Sydney where he received a Master of Arts in Marketing Management. He also holds a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). He is currently completing his doctoral studies with the University College London where he is pursuing a Doctor in Education degree.
